Where to Submit 15G Form and 15H Form

Form 15 G is a declaration by an individual or HUF to claim certain interest income without TDS.

Form 15H is a kind of declaration made by an individual who is or above 60 years age to claim receipt of certain income from interest without TDS.

These TDS forms can be used to save TDS on payments received in the following forms:

Conditions For Filing 15G Form and 15H Form

You can fill up these TDS forms only under following conditions:

  1. For 15G, you should be below 60 (an individual and HUF or trust). Firms are not allowed to submit these forms. For 15H, you should be above 60.
  2. The final tax on the estimated income should be nil.
  3. The aggregate of the interest earned during a particular financial year should not be above the basic exemption slab of that assessment year. For example 2.5 lakhs for current assessment year for below 60 and 3 lakhs for above 60. For super seniors i.e. above 80 years, it is 5 lakhs.
